Overview

Cargill Animal Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support their operations in Snyder, Colorado. This role involves performing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance, ensuring the efficiency and safety of the facility while contributing to the larger mission of providing better nutrition for better lives.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility
  • Operate maintenance tools including power tools and basic hand tools
  • Demonstrate experience in maintenance trades such as electrical, welding, and mechanical systems
  • Modify electrical or mechanical schematics and blueprints
  • Document completed work and conditions using maintenance software
  • Operate forklifts, loaders, and aerial lifts as required
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment

Required skills

  • Experience in maintenance trades (e.g., electrical, welding, mechanical)
  • Ability to operate standard maintenance tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical job duties
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions and confined spaces
  • Communication skills in English (verbal and written)
