Overview

Forest Properties Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for their property in Salem, NH. The role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including corrective, preventative, and emergency repairs to ensure the apartment community is well-maintained.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed
  • Complete service requests correctly and in a timely manner
  • Prepare vacant apartments for lease, including cleaning when necessary
  • Report building, ground, or system issues to supervisor for corrective action
  • Communicate and work effectively with residents, colleagues, and vendors
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed

Required skills

  • One year of experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting
  • Some HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and engage in physical activities
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Must bring own tools and have reliable transportation
  • Eligibility to work in the USA
