Overview

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their North Tonawanda plant. This full-time role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining plant equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry best practices. The technician will also coordinate maintenance activities and assist with plant improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair, install, alter, fabricate, and maintain plant equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance work requests and preventive/predictive maintenance activities
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance records, equipment files, and spare parts inventories
  • Assist with plant improvements and coordinate activities of outside vendors
  • Troubleshoot operation problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Verify and calibrate testing and inspection equipment
  • Implement and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance activities
