Overview

Alsum Farms & Produce Inc. is seeking a full-time Second Shift Maintenance Technician Lead to maintain large production machinery and guide shift technicians. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, training staff, and ensuring efficient machinery operation to support the production process.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on machines
  • Assist in planning and preparing training for maintenance associates
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Supervisor to prioritize tasks
  • Clean, oil, and lubricate machine parts for effective performance
  • Record and report damages to parts and request replacements
  • Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently
  • Train shift technicians in effective maintenance practices
  • Maintain and organize shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
  • Schedule regular maintenance in coordination with supervisors
  • Utilize CMMS for tracking repairs and inventory

Required skills

  • Mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with electrical wiring (3 phase 480V), carpentry, plumbing, heating and ventilation, or welding and fabricati
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Detailed organizational skills
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license
