Other duties may be assigned.Installs, adjusts, and repairs production equipment and special purpose machines, including equipment's electrical supply lines and circuits, electrical/electronic controls, piping and tubing, pneumatic controls and systems, and hydraulic systems.Inspects equipment for proper lubrication and performs general preventative maintenance duties. Learns and understands information needed for MP program.Diagnoses equipment operating problems and makes repairs, part replacements, and adjustments, making a record of change in logbooks, where applicable.Upon diagnosis and determination, refers complex situations to supervisor and higher-level mechanics.Operates variety of hand and power tools, shop equipment and machining tools.Welds and performs sheet metal operations as required.Inspects equipment and tests performance of equipment following repairs.Makes note of parts used and fills out requisitions order.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Informed and utilizes Lock Out and Tag Out procedures.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
