Overview

Simpson Housing LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for their Cadence Cool Springs community in Franklin, TN. This role is essential for maintaining a luxury apartment community, ensuring a quality experience for residents and facilitating a supportive living environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and preserve the luxury community to ensure a quality living experience for residents
  • Utilize troubleshooting and technical skills to resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pools, and security systems
  • Develop rapport with residents and assist with general maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare vacant apartment units to meet company leasing specifications
  • Help maintain strong curb appeal at the property

Required skills

  • 1+ years of related general maintenance experience
  • General knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and basic carpentry
  • CPO certification (can be obtained after hire)
  • Fair housing training required and CAMT certification preferred
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills
