Job Description

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II at ProMed Molded Products, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. The position involves performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all systems meet the company's high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using testing equipment.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water pumps and bathroom fixtures.
  • Inspect and maintain life safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
  • Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
  • Participate in project planning and implement a comprehensive education plan for technical skills.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or approved GED
  • 2 year technical degree with 3 years experience, or 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with hand and power tools, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC components
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform mathematics relevant to maintenance tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
