Maintenance Technician - Boilers, PTACs & Building Systems Madison, WisconsinJob Type fulltime Description:Are you the person everyone calls when the heat goes out, the boiler acts up, or an HVAC unit needs troubleshooting? We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our newly renovated (hotel) 191-unit apartment community on Madison's east side running at its best.This role is ideal for someone with experience maintaining commercial boilers, PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning) units, and building mechanical systems who takes pride in solving problems, preventing issues before they happen, and delivering great service.Hotel, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, and large-facility maintenance professionals are strongly encouraged to apply! What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial boiler systems.Service, maintain, and replace PTAC units and other HVAC equipment.Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and apartment turnovers.Complete preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs with a sense of urgency.Partner with vendors, contractors, and property management to keep projects moving.Take ownership of apartment turns, transforming vacant units into clean, fully functional, move-in-ready homes for new residents. What We're Looking For Experience with commercial boilers and PTAC units preferred.Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance operations.HVAC, boiler, or related certifications are a plus.Ability to turn a unit: carpentry, painting, plumbing, appliance repair/replacementIf you've kept a hotel, hospital, senior living community, or large residential property running smoothly, we'd love to talk with you.
