Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for their Beaver Dam location. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, PLCs, and robotics to support production operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage equipment calibrations and programmable device configurations.
  • Coordinate maintenance of inventories to maximize storage and prevent overstocking.
  • Develop and manage relationships with outside contractors and vendors.
  • Generate daily work logs to track work orders and project assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of robotic equipment
  • Experience with electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings
  • Detail orientation, self-motivation, and ability to multi-task
  • Effective communication skills in verbal and written formats
