Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for their Beaver Dam location. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, automated PLCs, robotics, and other computer-controlled equipment to support production operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Manage equipment calibrations and programmable device configurations
  • Coordinate maintenance of inventories of commonly used items
  • Develop and manage outside contractor and vendor relationships
  • Generate daily work logs to track work orders and project status
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
