Overview

Join Cedar Community as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that facilities and equipment remain safe and efficient for residents, staff, and visitors. This hands-on position involves performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and managing work orders to maintain a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and replace defective parts on equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Complete regular preventive maintenance to keep building systems and medical equipment running safely.
  • Check and manage work order requests, completing tasks such as lighting, plumbing, and equipment repairs.
  • Care for building water systems, including softeners and well pressure tanks.
  • Set up, test, and repair medical equipment like special tubs and wheelchairs.

Required skills

  • One to two years of related maintenance experience
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license
