Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Bath & Body Works is responsible for ensuring that facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition. This role involves performing general maintenance and repairs across various areas, including equipment, motor and conveyor repair, as well as building maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Use electrical diagnostic equipment for AC/DC testing
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers and managers
  • Mentor and develop team members and trainees
  • Work with vendors related to facilities maintenance
  • Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Troubleshoot and repair low and high voltage controls
  • Maintain building, equipment, and storage areas in a clean condition
  • Document work orders and comply with MP2 requirements
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures

Required skills

  • Prior maintenance experience in a distribution center setting
  • Building conveyor maintenance experience
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage systems
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Technical school or training preferred
  • Computer skills, including navigating Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Welding skills preferred, but not required
