Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Bath & Body Works is responsible for ensuring that the facilities and equipment are in safe and effective working condition. This role requires performing a variety of maintenance tasks across different operational areas, focusing on both technical repairs and general maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
  • Use electrical diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Work with vendors related to facilities.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical controls.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Complete and document work orders and inventory.
  • Follow safety procedures including lockout-tag out and confined space protocols.

Required skills

  • Experience in maintenance in a distribution center setting.
  • Building conveyor maintenance expertise.
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Welding skills preferred but not required.
