Job Description

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Bath & Body Works, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition. The position involves a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks, requiring flexibility and the ability to work across different operational areas within the distribution center.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair in all areas of assignment
  • Troubleshoot and repair low and high voltage controls including fuses, relays, and wiring
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Use electrical diagnostic equipment for testing
  • Maintain cleanliness in building, equipment, shop, and storage areas
  • Document work orders and activities for compliance with MP2 requirements
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures, including lockout-tag out and confined space protocols
  • Mentor and develop team members and technicians in training
  • Collaborate with supervisors and vendors aligned to facilities

Required skills

  • Maintenance experience in a distribution center setting
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC
  • Experience with conveyors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Technical school or training preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and email navigation
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Welding skills preferred but not required
