Overview

IA Recruiting is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment and systems in a food manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate should possess experience in maintenance and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and electrical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Conduct safety inspections and repairs on all safety equipment
  • Diagnose and maintain plant equipment, including hydraulic systems and electric controls
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks across the plant

Required skills

  • 2 years of experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings
  • Use of precision measuring instruments
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical studies
  • Mechanical skills
