Overview

Nestle Purina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team in Clinton, Iowa. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control systems for the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and other department equipment, contributing to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement efforts within the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and controls systems for ASRS and warehouse equipment
  • Assist maintenance and controls departments with preventative maintenance optimization
  • Operate, repair, replace, and maintain Warehouse and ASRS components
  • Provide verification and repair services to safety instrumented systems and plant equipment
  • Perform PM checks and report all problems
  • Complete work orders using various computer applications including WMS and SAP

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years of maintenance-related experience or 2-year Industrial Technology Degree
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ASRS systems
  • Electrical repair
  • Preventative maintenance
