Overview

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support industrial maintenance operations in Greenwood, South Carolina. The role requires a skilled professional capable of performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on various devices and systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance
  • Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts
  • Set up and operate machining operations like lathe and drill press
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Drive participation in continuous improvement activities
  • Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software and hardware issues
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies for data collection
  • Provide assistance and leadership to lower level technicians
  • Complete on-the-job and technical self-study programs
  • Follow all safety-related policies and regulations

Required skills

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or 3-5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
  • Ability to use basic and specialized hand tools
  • Experience with CMMS software
  • Welding skills
