Overview

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of industrial equipment in factories. The role requires expertise in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across various systems, along with the ability to lead training efforts for junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
  • Identify and source necessary parts, supplies, and repair items
  • Optimize preventative maintenance procedures in collaboration with the Planner Scheduler
  • Setup and operate machining equipment like lathes and grinders
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and training for lower-level technicians
  • Troubleshoot complex control systems and resolve software/hardware issues
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to analyze equipment performance and trends
  • Maintain accurate records and review CMMS history

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associates degree with technical focus and 5 years related experience or 7 years industry experience
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and precision alignments
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
  • Ability to use hand and specialized tools
  • Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations
  • Capacity to travel as required
