Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to support production operations by performing troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and process improvement of mechanical equipment, automated PLCs, robotics, and other computer-controlled equipment. The role requires working in an air-conditioned facility and offers advancement opportunities along with additional benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations, and systems hardware to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of inventories for commonly used items.
  • Develop and manage outside contractor and vendor relationships.
  • Generate daily work logs to track work orders and project assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Maintenance experience, ideally in a rotational molding shop preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming
  • Detail orientation and self-motivation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
