Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Mustad USA is responsible for supporting manufacturing and industrial operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. This role entails working with various systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC while ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs facility equipment and systems
  • Supports production department with machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Follows safety and standard operational procedures
  • Assists in solving breakdowns and maintaining inventories of parts
  • Ensures proper handling and labeling of hazardous materials
  • Documents maintenance activities and uses PM software
  • Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis
  • Executes additional duties as requested by management

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Training or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field
  • 5+ years of general maintenance experience
  • Hands-on operation of hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Blueprint and schematic interpretation
  • Computer and MS Office skills
  • Experience with CMMS software (maintenance software M pulse)
