Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Advanced Technology Services (ATS) will perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance to ensure factory operations run smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, along with participating in continuous improvement activities within a factory environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
  • Independently perform maintenance as per industry standards.
  • Setup and operate multiple machining operations, including lathe and drill press.
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Update records and review CMMS history.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze control systems.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
  • Provide assistance to lower-level technicians and lead small teams.
  • Complete on-the-job and technical self-study programs for career development.
  • Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Required skills

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
  • Ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools and specialized tools.
  • Welding skills may be required.
  • Ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in loud factory environments.
