Overview

Cargill is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its facility in Enosburg Falls, Vermont. This full-time position involves completing preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as ensuring the operational integrity of various systems and equipment critical to the company's diverse businesses.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance
  • Document all completed work and conditions using maintenance software
  • Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair components and systems
  • Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools and pneumatic tools
  • Comprehend mechanical/electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Operate forklifts and heavy equipment
  • Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment

Required skills

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience and/or electrical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word
