Job Description

Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their collaborative team in Hedrick, Iowa. This role focuses on supporting the maintenance of building, mechanical, and preventive systems, while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for employees and laboratory operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform building, mechanical, and preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal partners
  • Prioritize work using PM systems and work orders
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS
  • Participate in on call rotation as needed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of maintenance or skilled trade experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, and building systems
  • Knowledge of 110/220V, single phase, and 3 phase systems
  • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work weekday day shift with on call rotation
  • Experience with boiler or hydronic systems or Journeyman Plumber License (preferred)
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems, electrical controls, BAS, or CMMS (preferred)
