Overview

The Olive Oil Factory is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its production facility in Fairfield, California. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting packaging and production equipment, ensuring efficient operations and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
  • Conduct machinery changeovers for various products
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure equipment is safe for operation
  • Adhere to Lock Out-Tag Out procedures
  • Assist in other departments as required
  • Work any shift and overtime as needed

Required skills

  • 1+ year of Maintenance Mechanic experience in production or manufacturing
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using power and hand tools
  • Experience setting up equipment in a bottling environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
