Overview

Eden Foods Inc in Clinton, Michigan is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform general repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and building systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical and technical background, with a commitment to safety and effective communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and building systems
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on power equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
  • Monitor and report faulty equipment and safety hazards
  • Assist in maintaining manufacturing equipment and perform inspections
  • Maintain maintenance records and parts inventories
  • Assist in construction and renovation projects
  • Conduct property and grounds maintenance, including snow removal
  • Attend training and perform other duties as needed

Required skills

  • Strong mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical aptitude
  • Minimum of three years of relevant maintenance experience
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and measurements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Functional computer skills
  • Preferred experience in food production safety and quality processes
  • Dependable reliability and sound moral and ethical professional standards
