Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Fall River, Wisconsin location. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and process improvement of mechanical equipment, automated PLCs, and robotics to support production operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Manage equipment calibrations and programmable device configurations
  • Coordinate maintenance inventories to maximize storage efficiency
  • Develop and manage contractor and vendor relationships
  • Generate daily work logs to track work order statuses
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a metal fabrication shop
  • Ability to lead and monitor peers
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings
