Overview

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment at their Pasco, Washington facility. The role requires effective troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various mechanical and electrical systems to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery
  • Prioritize and address downtime issues to support production needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Execute minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Troubleshoot equipment with timing and programmable logic controls (PLCs)
  • Communicate with various departments and attend necessary meetings
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Required skills

  • Experience in preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs
  • Time management skills
  • 3-5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or degree preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
