Overview

Horizon Realty Advisors LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Ellensburg, WA. This role involves assisting in all maintenance needs, managing service requests, and ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction. Horizon is known for its vibrant company culture and commitment to the well-being of its teammates.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain positive resident relations through superior service
  • Inspect grounds and buildings to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • Fulfill resident service requests per company policy
  • Monitor service request turnaround time to meet company standards
  • Conduct unit inspections for move-in readiness and perform make-ready processes
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, and other systems
  • Assist with in-house and capital projects as assigned
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed
  • Perform on-call duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience or training
  • HVAC I and II Certification preferred
  • CPO Certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Interpersonal skills and effective communication
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and pool upkeep
  • Knowledge of safety standards and Fair Housing laws
