Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Lane Enterprises Inc is responsible for the general maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal mechanical performance of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of up to 480v 3 phase electrical systems
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance
  • Install wiring and run conduit
  • Conduct walkthroughs and inspections of equipment and grounds
  • Create part lists for orders and maintain adequate spare parts inventory
  • Maintain an inspection program for all motors and electrical equipment
  • Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Perform small repairs and periodic service on plant and fleet equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working condition
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working environment

Required skills

  • Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic skills
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder diagrams
  • Fabrication skills
  • Experience with installation of 3 phase motors and control circuits
  • Ability to rebuild a gear box
  • Familiarity with chillers, air compressors, and pump skids
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting abilities
  • Flexibility with schedule to cover various shifts
  • Minimum of ten years of maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strength and stamina for medium to heavy physical work

What the company offers

  • Base pay range of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
