Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Mariner's Glen Apartment Homes in Port Orchard, Washington. The role focuses on ensuring proper maintenance within the apartment community, fulfilling service requests, and handling emergencies, all while contributing to a welcoming work environment that promotes professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all service requests, callbacks, and work orders are performed properly and promptly
  • Complete assigned maintenance make-ready sheets
  • Turn vacant apartments
  • Maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanliness
  • Maintain property grounds, workplace, and maintenance shop
  • Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned

Required skills

  • Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the unit turn process
  • Skills relating to all building systems
  • Knowledge in plumbing and pool/spa maintenance
  • Experience with appliance repair and electrical repairs
  • Previous painting experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
