Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at Rolling Oaks Apartment Homes in Fairfield, California. The role emphasizes the importance of creating a welcoming home environment, focusing on personal and professional growth within a supportive team culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all service requests, callbacks, and work orders are performed properly and promptly
  • Complete assigned maintenance make-ready sheets
  • Turn vacant apartments
  • Maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanliness
  • Maintain property grounds, workplace, and maintenance shop
  • Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned

Required skills

  • Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience
  • Painting experience preferred
  • Skills relating to all building systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of the unit turn process
  • Knowledge in plumbing, pool, and spa maintenance
  • Familiarity with appliance repair and electrical repairs
  • Valid driver license
  • Ability to work inside and outside in all types of weather
  • Medium to heavy work capability, including lifting up to 100 lbs
