Job Description

Overview

Commonwealth is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to join their team in Hayden, Idaho. The role involves maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, performing unit turnovers, and keeping grounds well maintained for a variety of residential properties across Oregon and Washington.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects as needed
  • Assist landscapers in maintaining common areas and grounds
  • Maintain and clean street surfaces and parking areas
  • Ensure all drains, ditches, and sidewalks are free of debris
  • Maintain and clean community facilities including recreation buildings and laundry areas
  • Test and maintain community equipment and tools
  • Paint and repair community structures as directed
  • Winterize outside faucets in community buildings
  • Assist other maintenance workers with projects as needed

Required skills

  • Experience in electrical maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping
  • Problem solving and attention to detail

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Time management and prioritization skills
