Job Description

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II at TD SYNNEX's logistics center, you'll be essential in maintaining and repairing various equipment, particularly conveyor systems, to ensure operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair conveyor systems to ensure smooth operation
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and document repair outcomes
  • Manage tools and maintain accurate maintenance inventory
  • Support training initiatives for maintenance staff
  • Maintain the appearance of equipment, facility, and grounds
  • Update maintenance records using computerized systems
  • Conduct minor welding tasks and adhere to safety protocols
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical controls and install electrical components

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance
  • Classroom training or equivalent on electrical controls
  • Experience with conveyor systems
  • Training or equivalent for basic AC & DC electricity
  • Knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase
  • Basic PLC and VFD experience
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours and be on call occasionally
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
