Our company offers a competitive hourly rate and overtime, favorable benefits, opportunities for advancement, great culture, and strong leadership.POSITION - Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing PlantLOCATION - Sacramento, CAHOURLY RATE - $28-$38 per hour - Plus $ per hour for SD - Hourly rate is based on experience and mechanical/electrical testing.SHIFT - Monday - Friday - 6am to 4pmKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties are the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery in support of the overall production process. Ancillary duties are the support of plant and service equipment. Will be working hands-on with distributed automated controls and PLC's, electrical sensory devices, electronic drives, AC/DC motors, and machinery hydraulics. Repair of pumps, valves and cylinders, pneumatic and vacuum systems. Maintain required equipment logs. Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant. Able to accurately read and utilize technical drawings, diagrams and prints. Excellent working knowledge mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial controls Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all of the aforementioned areas. Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Looking for self-motivated individuals able to analyze and resolve machine related production problems. Pay is commensurate with experience and demonstrated knowledge. General testing may be required prior to employment offer. Read, write and understand the English language.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work/stand for long periods of time, work off ladders and man lifts. Heavy lifting may be required Hand dexterity and strength Open positions for all shifts, preference for 2nd/3rd.
