Overview

The Maintenance Technician at Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc. will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and performance of large production machinery. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance, servicing machines, and collaborating with management on maintenance schedules and modifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on machines
  • Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts
  • Oil and lubricate moving parts to ensure effective performance
  • Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts
  • Order and install replacement parts for machines
  • Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair machines quickly
  • Prepare reports documenting work performed
  • Maintain organization of shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
  • Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance
  • Collaborate with product manager or plant engineer on modifications and new products
  • Make necessary modifications and implement test runs
