Job Description

Overview

StuartCo is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech 1 for their Genesee Apartments & Townhomes in Bloomington, MN. This role focuses on ensuring resident satisfaction and safety through the regular maintenance and repair of the property community.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform property maintenance or repairs as needed or requested
  • Execute preventive maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules
  • Turn apartments to ensure move-in standards are met
  • Perform exterior maintenance including roof, parking lot, and pool maintenance
  • Conduct grounds care, including snow removal and trash pick-up
  • Assist in maintaining adequate maintenance supply inventory
  • Coordinate with police, fire, and utility inspectors
  • Complete routine paperwork as required
  • Attend staff meetings and maintenance training
  • Maintain confidentiality and high levels of customer service

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance tech in residential or similar settings
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work from drawings and verbal instructions
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Must be able to respond to on-call work orders within 30 minutes
