Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician lLocation: Romeoville, IL9am to 5:30pmPay: $25.00 - $27.00Job PurposeResponsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets within a logistics center while supporting safe operations and maintaining equipment quality.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assisted and occasionally unassisted preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and building assets within the logistics centerLearn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control softwareSafely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phaseAbility to assist with the removal and installation of equipmentAssist in maintaining all spare parts inventoryLearn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Maintain assigned tools and ensure they remain in good working conditionMaintain a clean and quality appearance of all equipment and facility assetsFollow all Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, including execution and recordkeepingMeets all attendance policy and lead by example for all safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementQualifications (Required)High school diploma or GED preferred1-3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experienceAbility to replace and diagnose AC/DC electric motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technicianBasic mechanical repair experience and troubleshooting abilities to include bearings, chains, and beltsSkills & KnowledgeAble to gain a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fire suppression systems, conveyor systemsAbility to learn conveyor systems using conveyor control softwareAble to safely learn various electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3phaseCapable of learning robotics and automation equipmentAbility to learn and operate computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)Physical RequirementsPhysically able to stand, climb ladders, crouch, crawl and lift 50lbs unassisted for extended time periodsWork Environment & ScheduleAble to keep non-standard hours, work overtime, and be available on call occasionallyAt TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
