Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor at Maiker Housing Partners will oversee maintenance operations for Adams County Housing Authority properties. This role involves ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to quality standards and budget guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff
  • Inspect properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure prompt repairs
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Manage the maintenance budget and track expenses
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and contractors
  • Stay current with industry best practices and new technologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of experience in building maintenance and repair
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Valid driver's license
