Overview

Saelens Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead their maintenance team in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. This role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for CNC-driven manufacturing operations, mentoring a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring optimal performance of machinery and facility systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machinery
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Calibrate and align CNC equipment for operational efficiency
  • Monitor machine wear and manage parts replacements
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians
  • Create, schedule, and track work orders using maintenance software
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development support

Required skills

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, with 3+ years on CNC machinery
  • High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification preferred
  • Proficiency with maintenance software for work order management and scheduling
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery operation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with CNC control systems like Fanuc and Haas
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
