Overview

CRSI is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Champaign County, Urbana, Ohio. This full-time role involves performing general maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds while ensuring compliance with various safety and health regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience in maintenance tasks and be capable of managing budgets and supervising part-time staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Communicate with home supervisors and other staff to complete repairs
  • Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules
  • Assist in developing projected maintenance needs and budgets
  • Monitor maintenance budget within approved amounts
  • Complete documentation and expense reports per agency requirements
  • Supervise designated part-time and student maintenance staff
  • Conduct training on maintenance issues
  • Participate in safety and health committee activities
  • Attend required training sessions
  • Be available for weekend and evening on-call duty
  • Maintain a neat and organized maintenance department

Required skills
