Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic III (Journeyman Plumber) at TriHealth is responsible for the expert maintenance and repair of hospital buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role requires plumbing expertise and proficiency in additional trades, along with the ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete and submit work orders on time
  • File incident reports and maintain documentation
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled work orders within time constraints
  • Maintain an organized and neat workspace
  • Manage parts inventory in assigned areas
  • Use personal protective equipment and safe work techniques
  • Provide technical direction to helpers and mechanics
  • Assist the Supervisor in identifying maintenance priorities

Required skills

  • Journeyman level plumbing expertise
  • Experience in maintenance and repair
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • 3-4 years experience in a related field
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
