Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanic II at Ace Hardware Corporation in Fredericksburg, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the equipment and systems that support our distribution center operations. Key responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance on power equipment including forklifts, high reaches, and pallet jacks
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on scrubbers, compactors, balers, and fans
  • Conduct maintenance on the conveyor system and rearrange rack systems as necessary
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and fabrication systems
  • Assist with construction and relamping as needed
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • Conveyor maintenance experience
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with industrial power tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate in English regarding job duties and safety
