Job Description

Overview

Levco Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their 338-unit property in Richmond, VA. This role involves providing leadership to maintenance staff, managing work orders, and ensuring a safe working environment, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and team-oriented culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site team members
  • Assist with the development of capital improvement budgets
  • Project management of capital improvements at the property level
  • Ensure high-quality customer service to residents
  • Perform and supervise completion of work orders in a timely manner
  • Bid, schedule, and supervise contracted work
  • Manage and assist with apartment-make-ready work
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance programs
  • Complete thorough inspections of work performed
  • Conduct departmental Safety Inspections twice per week
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an apartment maintenance supervisor
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a 300+ unit property
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Strong HVAC skills (installation and troubleshooting/repair)
  • EPA Universal certification
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • General plumbing skills and electrical skills
  • General apartment maintenance skills (drywall, appliances, etc.)
  • Ability to perform tasks without seeking outside contractor assistance
  • Must provide own hand tools and handheld power tools
