Job Description

Overview

Levco Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a 338-unit property in Richmond, VA. This role focuses on providing leadership to the maintenance staff, overseeing maintenance projects, and ensuring a high level of customer service and safety within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site team members
  • Assist with the development of capital improvement budgets
  • Manage and project manage capital improvements
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to residents
  • Oversee completion of work orders in a timely manner
  • Bid, schedule, and supervise contracted work
  • Schedule and manage apartment-make-ready work
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs
  • Conduct thorough inspections of work performed
  • Complete departmental safety inspections twice per week
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an apartment maintenance supervisor
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a 300+ unit property
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Strong HVAC skills (installation and troubleshooting/repair)
  • EPA Universal certification
  • General plumbing skills and electrical skills
  • General apartment maintenance skills (drywall, appliances, etc.)
  • Ability to perform tasks without seeking outside contractor assistance
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
