Overview

The Maintenance Manager at CF Industries plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the maintenance department within a chemical manufacturing facility in Woodward, Oklahoma. This leadership position involves overseeing a team of around 40 employees, focusing on operational excellence and compliance with safety standards while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support corporate and facility-based EHS programs and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with facility EHS policies and safety standards
  • Maintain and develop a competent maintenance workforce through training and appraisal
  • Manage and optimize plant maintenance activities and processes
  • Develop relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare and administer the annual department operating budget
  • Coordinate turnaround maintenance activities and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with engineering and other departments to enhance operations

Required skills

  • B.S. Engineering degree
  • 10+ years of supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing
  • Leadership skills and strategic planning abilities
  • Experience managing large scale turnaround projects
