Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Manager at CF Industries plays a key role in leading the maintenance department of a chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This position is responsible for a team of around 40 employees and collaborates closely with other departments to uphold operational excellence and implement effective maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Support corporate and facility-based Environment, Health, and Safety programs.
  • Manage maintenance personnel, including training, counseling, and performance appraisal.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships to meet operational objectives.
  • Prepare and administer the annual department operating budget.
  • Oversee large maintenance turnarounds and ensure effective project management.
  • Liaise with engineering and other departments to support ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Monitor contractor performance and assure adherence to standards.

Required skills

  • B.S. Engineering degree
  • 10+ years of supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing
