Overview

The Maintenance I role at Target Hospitality involves performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. The position requires a strong commitment to safety procedures while providing timely maintenance services and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safety culture by following all SOPs, JSAs, policies, and procedures
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
  • Repair, modify, install, and maintain building structures and equipment
  • Remove blockages in restroom/kitchen facilities
  • Hang, patch, texture, and paint sheetrock and drywall
  • Replace and repair ceiling tiles and ceiling grid systems
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections on buildings and equipment
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
  • Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal
  • Participate in safety meetings and emergency response procedures

Required skills

  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines regarding safety practices
  • Understanding of electrical principles and theories
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems and operations
  • Ability to use and understand chemical materials and their hazards
  • Strong arithmetic skills for material calculations
  • Physical ability to perform tasks and handle weights up to 50lbs
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral
