Overview

Mayroad is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for their residential properties in Goldsboro, North Carolina, focusing on maintaining various facilities including homes, pools, and community areas associated with military housing. The role requires diagnosing and repairing issues across multiple maintenance disciplines while ensuring high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential properties and associated assets
  • Perform maintenance in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Use tools for repairs, including power tools and basic carpentry equipment
  • Execute cleaning and maintenance tasks for community spaces and facilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Use personal smartphone and vehicle for job-related communication and transportation
  • Accurately complete computer-based training and timekeeping

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of residential maintenance experience
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, and HVAC systems
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Familiarity with tools related to carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
  • Basic computer and phone skills
