Overview

LIVINN HOTELS LTD is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Burnsville, Minnesota. This role involves performing general maintenance and repairs across various building systems, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC, to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs of assigned equipment and facilities.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner and follow up until repairs are complete.
  • Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a routine for seasonal maintenance including HVAC start up and shut down.
  • Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate in on-call weekend and after-hour rotations with other maintenance technicians.
  • Assist with shoveling snow and sanding/salting entrances as needed.

Required skills

  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a thorough understanding of safety hazards.
