Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Woodhull, Illinois. This role is essential for ensuring the operations of company equipment including electrical systems and HVAC, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems
  • Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections
  • Review and assist with the electrical safety program for compliance
  • Adhere to quality systems and safety procedures including environmental regulations
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and process changes
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and prints
  • Support production demand by working overtime and shifts including weekends and holidays

Required skills

  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Industrial maintenance experience with production equipment
